Sales Engineer

Job description

inFeedo is looking for a Sales Engineer who can contribute to our revenue goals for sales. The Sales Engineer is a go-to technical resource for the sales and customer success team, helping to make prospects successful through live assistance, behind-the-scenes support, and education.

1. What will you be doing?

  1. Product Expertise: Providing a deep level of product knowledge and skillfully answering product-related questions during the sales cycle.
  2. Bid Management: Supporting the sales team in responding to RFI/RFPs, and preparing custom quotes, statements of work, or pricing when needed.
  3. Technical Project Lead: In unusual or new use cases, acts as the technical project manager/liaison for coordinating internal resources, salesperson, and prospect, and working with internal technical resources to ascertain the feasibility and fit from a technical perspective.
  4. Cross functional projects: Works as a link between sales, customer success and product teams and prospect to help determine if the product is the right fit for the prospect’s needs.
  5. Training: Working with account executives, account managers and Customer Success Managers on demo techniques, providing inputs on new product features and how to successfully position those features for maximum impact.

Requirements

Is this you?

  1. Experience: 
    • 4+ years of sales engineering or technical support experience in a SAAS company.
    • Strong ability to effectively manage a range of simultaneous engagements
    • Ability to effectively convey customer requirements to Product Management, Support, and Engineering teams
  2. Stakeholder conversations: Extremely strong communication skills to ensure clarity while delivering project timelines for external and internal stakeholders..
  3. Punching above their weight: Taking ownership and make do with less.
