Project Manager

Job description

A Project Manager who has served and managing solutions in the software/product development lifecycle, gathering requirements and directing the activities of his team. This role requires excellent attention to detail, as an individual frequently needs to examine business specifications and translate them into product specifications. People who have demonstrated excellent customer-facing communication skills, representing technical solutions at senior leadership levels will have an edge.

What will you be doing?

  1. Project Planning: Create project plans using pre-defined templates and ensure true status updates on a weekly basis.

  2. Execute Project Delivery: Ensure product specifications are delivered on a weekly basis as per project plan. Directly oversee the activities of a team of developers, answer questions and help resolve issues as they arise.

  3. Manage Client Enhancement Requests: Work closely with a solution architect to explore feasibility of client technical enhancement requests and to identify areas for improvement.

  4. Leadership: Execute and lead a high performing team clarifying project objectives, dependencies and success criteria.

  5. Reporting: Develop and report defined metrics and measure project doneness.


What skills do you need?

  1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.

  2. Experience:

    1. Total: 5 to 8 years of total work experience with proven delivery accountability in a client-service organization.

    2. Domain: Specifically, at least 2 years of client management experience and experience managing functional, regression and other testing cycles.

  3. Mentoring: At least three years of performance managing others, including writing performance evaluations.

  4. Team: Direct managerial responsibility of 5 to 10 individuals. Strong leadership and team management skills.

  5. Critical Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, client calls facilitation and relationship building skills.
