Chief of Staff / CEO's Office

Job description

The Chief of Staff is a dynamic, fast-paced, get shit done and propel the organization forward kind of a role. You will work directly with Tanmaya Jain (Founder & CEO) to support on ground execution of CEO led strategic and organizational initiatives, achieve key priorities, provide project support, lead special projects, communicate on behalf of the CEO's office, and act as a central contact person for multiple projects.

Is this you?

  • 7+ years of work experience in strategy consulting or entrepreneurship or founding member of a startup a similar role or worked in a mix of program management & strategic initiatives role prior to this
  • High degree of responsibility and ownership - strong multitasking, coordination, organizational execution skills & problem solving mindset
  • Must have worked in a fast paced growing technology startup
  • Track record of ownership and tenaciously looking for ways to get results & improve the status quo.
  • Experience working closely with C-suite/VP-level management while also influencing across multiple levels and functions of an organization.
  • Comfortable working remotely

What will you be doing?

  1. Shadow CEO consistently to act as a sounding pad, close action loops, and take ops off his plate. Act as a stunt double where required.
  2. Identify, investigate and solve cross-department issues. Sometimes run an ailing department or project.
  3. Assess queries/problems/ideas/roadblocks directed to the CEO, determine the proper course of action, and delegate to the right individual/team for completion.
  4. Help hire critical roles & complete priority items for the CEO with A+ quality.
  5. Provide articulate feedback on the leadership team’s ideas/proposals/OKRs, help keep them accountable for results and follow-through changes to see if they worked.
  6. Help manage CEO communication on Slack, Email, LinkedIn & Whatsapp Business.
  7. Enhance CEO communication in all-hands, leadership meetings & quarterly kickoffs.
